World of Aircraft is a series of standalone simulators, each focusing on a specific type of flight. World of Aircraft: Glider Simulator features a number of (motor) gliders and tug planes on a flight deck.

 

World of Aircraft uses a dedicated graphics and physics engine to simulate small aircraft. Each edition focuses on one specific type of aviation, and always contains the terrain, airport(s), and aircraft needed to learn that type of aviation. Since the game does not aim to cover the entire world and all types of aviation, you get more detail for the parts that are in the simulator compared to full-fledged simulators.

 

This is a pure VFR simulator, so it only simulates flying without complex instruments, and you navigate by compass and eyes. The main thing is the joy of being in the air and owning your machine.
