Total War: PHARAOH DYNASTIES

Total War: PHARAOH is a turn-based strategy real-time tactics game developed by Creative Assembly Sofia. The game is set to be released in October of this year, and it is being published by SEGA. It is another instalment in the Total War series, and the first one to take place in Ancient Egypt.

Story
The plot in the Total War games may not be the most significant element of this series, yet each instalment has its own connected to a specific setting. The same goes for Total War: PHARAOH.

This time, we’ll get to know Ancient Egypt. The old Pharaoh has passed away, leaving Egypt without a leader. Representatives of the Egyptian, Hittite, and Canaanite peoples will decide who will become the new Pharaoh. If you want to become one, remember that a long and challenging path awaits you.

Gameplay
At the beginning of the game, the player can choose from eight leaders belonging to three different factions: Egyptians, Canaanites, and Hittites. Each faction has unique characteristics and represents different regions.

Just like in previous instalments, in TW: PHARAOH, the player's main tasks involve expansion, territory control, and, of course, maintaining an army.

Battles take place in real-time, and their outcome is influenced by many factors. One of these factors is an entirely new addition to the series - weather conditions, such as storms or heatwaves, will affect the battlefield. These will have an impact on the terrain and the well-being of the troops. However, it's important to remember that any changes will also impact our own actions.

Upon ascending to the throne, unique battle and construction abilities will also be unlocked in the game.
